mastodon.swisswaffen.com, the new platform for the Swisswaffen ad listings feed (Created: 08.03.2026, Changed: 08.03.2026)

The account MUST be created on the Mastodon server mastodon.swisswaffen.com. Especially with mobile apps (Android, iOS), a different server (e.g., mastodon.social) is recommended or even pre-filled. This is incorrect; mastodon.swisswaffen.com must be entered manually if necessary!

Be sure to enter your own email address into the "email"-field (not the mastodon.swisswaffen.com address)!

2. Wait until the account is activated
3. Log in to swisswaffen.com using your account (Link)
 
Long Version
Since various internet companies are increasingly censoring content - especially harmless and legal posts - I have decided to run my own Mastodon server.
 
The server can be accessed at the following URL: mastodon.swisswaffen.com
 
Apps for Mastodon are available in the respective app stores for Android and iOS. However, Mastodon can also be used via the web interface in a browser.
 
Create an Account
On the Mastodon server’s main page, you can create a new account by clicking the "Create Account" button. Accounts are activated manually, usually within 24 hours.
 
Accounts and Hashtags
There are various streams and hashtags:
The main user is @sw_stream_full. This account publishes the listings with a delay of approximately 120 minutes. The listings are tagged with hashtags; here are the most important ones:
#Stream_Full: the listing stream with all listings
#Stream_Full_Platforms: Listings from the listing platforms
#Stream_Full_Dealers: Listings from gun shops
#Stream_Full_Filter: Filtered listings, excluding clothing, accessories, etc.
Tags are automatically generated for each seller, for example #gebrauchtwaffen or #Ellie.
 
Patreon users can follow the user @sw_stream_patreon; approval is manual.
 
All Mastodon users, including those from other servers, can follow the streams and hashtags.
 
Swisswaffen Login
Login and account creation on swisswaffen.com are now also linked to Mastodon. To do this, the Mastodon account must be created on the Swisswaffen Mastodon server mastodon.swisswaffen.com (Create Account).
Existing accounts will be automatically linked provided the same email address is used. If linking does not occur, please contact me briefly so that I can do this manually.
Existing accounts will continue to work with the normal login (username and password). Mastodon logins are performed by clicking the Mastodon login button.
 

The Telegram channels and RSS feeds (swisswaffen.com Telegram Channel and swisswaffen.com Telegram Bot) will remain operational.
