Description (Top):

The Chinese Walther PPK copy "Model 356" or "Type 356" corresponds exactly to the fifth version of the Walther PPK Zella Mehlis, 7.65mm Browning. The Chinese PPK Type 356 were manufactured in China from 1952 without a license agreement. It is assumed that the Soviet Union passed on the machinery of the former Walther factory in Zella-Mehlis to China and that these pistols were manufactured on these machines. The parts are interchangeable with original Walther PPK Zella Mehlis, 7.65mm Browning. The grip panels bear a banner with Chinese lettering.
