Description:
Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1914, in very good condition with 94% finish. 4/5 Bore (sharp rifling, light pitting throughout bore). 1*/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Model 1914 sawback bayonet matching serial number.

The handguard has an unrepaired crack on the inside surface, behind the rear sight and is only visible from the outside surface if you lift up the tangent sight. While it's a non-structural crack and not visible without disassembly, the unrepaired crack drops the furniture score from 4/5 to 1/5.

Furniture has been completely sanded and refinished. The Swiss military stamp on the right side of the stock has been sanded away. Light tiger stripe pattern on the handguard. There are very few remaining signs of handling wear on the furniture. On the right side of the stock there are a couple of very light to light surface scratches at the butt. On the left side of the stock there is a small pressure mark above the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark and a couple of light scratches on and near the toe. The handguard has some light blemishes on the right side, at the woodline before the front barrel band.

All bluing has been refurbished. The receiver has a few scattered light marks in the finish. There is a small surface mark on the edge of the upper right lightening cut, a pair of light surface marks on the top side, and minimal to very light edge wear. Rear barrel band has minimal finish wear. The rear barrel band spring is weak. Front barrel band has very light finish wear on the bayonet lug. Very little finish wear on the magazine plate and trigger guard. Magazine has very light finish wear near the forward edge on the underside as well as a light mark in the finish next to the serial number and a few surface marks along the edge.

Model 1914 sawback bayonet, produced by Hermann Steimer, is stamped with matching serial number on the crosspiece. The ricasso is also stamped with a production year of 1935, which means that this was a reissued bayonet, either due to damage or loss of the originally issued bayonet. Blade has a heavy impact mark on the non-serrated edge near the tip. Mild scratches along the blade from repeated removal and insertion into the scabbard. Includes steel scabbard and leather frog.

Receiver is P stamped. ·17 is stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1917.

Includes aluminum muzzle cover and non-military woven leather sling.

C&R Eligible. Import engraved.
