| 7.5x55; 85% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 23.3'' barrel, Manufactured in 1922 This is a number matching carbine. It is equipped with a number matching 12-inch bayonet and frog. The front sight is a winged post and the rear sight is an elevation adjustable tangent. Graduated to 1500 meters. The metal finish is very good with slight wear on the front sight’s wings. The receiver is thinning overall. The serial number 112855 is on the left side of the receiver. It has a large letter P indicating it has been privatized. The walnut stock has small Swiss Cross inside a Crest on the right side of the buttstock. It also has several small handling marks and dings. It is equipped with a brown leather sling. The bayonet has a 12 in two-edged blade in good condition. The riccaso has a maker’s mark ‘’WAFFENFABRIK / NEUHAUSEN. The crossbar is stamped with the S/N 112855, the crossbar and the pommel both have some small plating loss. The walnut grips are in good condition. The frog is worn, but the stitching is still intact. It has a maker’s mark on the back side of the frog, a Swiss Cross over a J inside of a rectangle. The scabbard is worn and has scattered patina overall. Import marked., s/n 1128xx |
