| Original blue finish, strawed small parts, checkered beechwood grips. Numbered parts are matching. Plated sheet steel magazine with navy wood bottom, un-numbered, with crown/M proof. The trigger and hold open appear to be overstamped with the matching number. Breechbolt is not numbered, is Erfurt proofed on the right side. Firing pin is not marked. Grips are not numbered. Stock lug ground on butt of grip frame. DWM monogram on top of toggle. 1917 dates appear on top of the chamber, left side short frame rail and left side of front sight base. Crown/M proofs and navy acceptance marks on left side of receiver. Takedown lever and sideplate numbered in commercial fashion on the bottom edges. The barrel is stamped on the bottom with a crown/M proof, the navy acceptanced mark on the left side. The metal finish is thinning over all, showing edge and high point wear and handling marks. Mechanically fine. The bore shows wear and pitting. C&R/FFL |
