Theo Jung Custom Mod. 98 - 98er DWM System in .30-06.
Dieser exzellente Arbeitsrepetierer wurde vermutlich 1993 (Beschuss) von Theo Jung in Lohmar aufgebaut und verfeinert. Die Büchse ist in jedem Detail hochwertig und dabei schlicht gehalten: - ausgesuchtes und nummerngleiches DWM-System Mauser "Modelo Argentino 1909" - SN "P0898" weist auf das Baujahr 1912 hin. - 24" Custom SHILEN Lauf in Stainless Steel für die Patrone .30-06 - Laufprofil an der Mündung ca. 16,5mm - Systembettung inkl. Hülsen (Pillar-Bedding) - Direktabzug von Sako "Finland" steht sehr fein und trocken - System und Kammer sind spiegelblank poliert und der Schlossgang ist in jedem Vergleich absolut weich und satt - Basen der Schwenkmontage sind verlötet und verschraubt (Schrauben eingepasst und unsichtbar versenkt) - eingepasste horizontale 3-Stellungssicherung (Seiten sind matt, Flächen und Schlagbolzenmutter hoch glänzend) - verbaut ist ebenfalls ein praktisches Klappdeckelmagazin - Schaftlänge 37-38cm mit Kaisergriff und bayrischer Backe mit Doppelpfalz und leichtem Schweinsrücken - scharfe, handgeschnittene Fischhaut - Schaftholzklasse 8 (ohne Gewähr) inkl. ERA - Schwenkmontageoberteile mit Drehverschluss und ZF Leupold Vari-X III 3,5-10x50 mit klassischem Duplex-Absehen. Glas ist absolut praktisch, hell, leicht und die Verstellungen funktionieren zuverlässig.
Die Summe dieser Teile ergibt eine klassische, präzise und überaus hochwertige Jagdbüchse mit amerikanischem Hauch für die Jagd in weitläufiger Landschaft - ganz nach der Beschreibung in Jack O'Connors "The Big Game Rifle". Erwartungsgemäß ist bei diesem Gesamtpaket auch die exzellente Schussleistung, die in der Kombination mit der .30-06 auch weitere Schüsse problemlos möglich macht.
