| Swiss military rucksack, commonly referred to as a "salt and pepper backpack". Has an internal frame. Leather base with leather strapping and a canvas body made of a blend of cotton and nettle fibers. Main compartment has a drawstring top with a top storm flap. Smaller compartment on the front of the pack with its own storm flap. Both storm flaps feature two leather tie down straps. Rucksack measures approximately 20" x 16" x 8". Outer pocket measures approximately 11" x 9" x 2". Backpack is a previously issued and used item in good condition. Canvas may have dirt and stains from use and age. Leather is in good condition but could use cleaning and conditioning. Photos for representative purposes only. Shipped item will be in similar condition. |
