Sein Namensgeber ist ein enorm widerstandfähiges Gewächs, das im Westen der USA verbreitet ist. Das Chaparral ist ein handliches Klappmesser mit einer Klinge aus pulvermetallurgischem Superstahl CTS-XHP von Carpenter. Dabei handelt es sich um einen ausgezeichneten Klingenstahl mit aussergweöhnlicher Schnitthaltigkeit und Korrosionsbeständigkeit. Durch die Griffschalen aus massivem und aufwändig bearbeitetem Titan, ist das Messer leicht aber trotzdem robust und hat auch optisch einiges zu beiten. Der Klingengang kann nur als "butterweich" bezeichntet werden und das Back-Lock arretiert die Klinge sicher und ohne Spiel. Das Messer verfügt über einen unauffälligen Draht-Clip, welcher bei Bedarf umgesetzt werden kann. Ein echter Gentleman`s Folder in Perfektion.
