Die Kalibrierung des Hülsenhalses in der NS-Collet-Die wirkt sehr schonend auf das Hülsenmaterial und wird durch Graphitieren des Hülsenhals-Inneren deutlich erleichtert! Vor dem Geschoss-Setzen mit der Floating-Seater-Die sollte das Graphitpulver allerdings mit einer trockenen Nylon-Bürste (Laufputz-Bürste 9 mm) aus dem Hülsenhals grob entfernt werden, damit der möglichst gleichmäßige Ausziehwiderstand für die Geschosse nicht beeinträchtigt wird. Falls auch aus fremden Waffen verschossene Hülsen zur Anwendung kommen sollten, können diese Fremdhülsen schonend mit der Redding-Body-Sizer-Die auf Maß gebracht werden. Damit ist jedenfalls gewährleistet, dass auch Hülsen, die aus fremdem Patronenlager verschossen wurden garantiert in das eigene Patronenlager passen.
