| Allen & Thurber Sidehammer Target Pistol, Kaliber 45, Seriennummer 16, Länge ca. 27 cm Die Waffe ist in allen Teilen original, einschließlich des Holzladestockes mit Messingspitze. Achtkant in Rund übergehender, gezogener Lauf mit Messingvisier. Spezielle Visiereinrichtung mit Anpassungsschraube am Griffrahmen. Die Seriennummer 16 findet sich am Lauf, auf dem Rahmen und an der Innenseite der Griffschale. Die Beschriftung ALLEN&THURBER , WORCESTER, CAST STEEL ist linksseitig in 3 Zeilen eingeschlagen und gut lesbar. Die Griffschalen sind weitgehend abgegriffen und zeigen noch ca. 20% Originallack. Die Laufzüge sind gut erkennbar und zeigen äußerlich vereinzelte Närbchen. Die Funktion ist in Ordnung. Eine sehr seltene, zwischen Ende 1840 und 1850 hergestellte qualitätvolle Pistole. Laut Flayderman wurden nur wenige hundert Waffen dieses Types hergestellt. Bei Bieter aus dem Ausland müsste der Höchstbieter mir einen Vorschlag für die Versendung machen und ggf. Mehrkosten tragen. |
