Dokumente und Aufzeichnungen wurden während des Zweiten Weltkrieges vernichtet. Walther PP und PPK 1929-1945 In diesem Buch werden die Modelle PP und PPK, von ihrem Entstehen im Jahre 1929 und ihrer Entwicklung in den frühen dreissiger Jahren, als die Waffenfabrik Walther den grössten Teil des Weltmarktes für Faustfeuerwaffen belieferte, beschrieben. Eine grosse Rolle spielte auch die Zeit nach 1933, als die NSDAP und die damals immer stärker werdende Deutsche Wehrmacht begannen, grosse Aufträge über Walther Waffen zu erteilen. Walther Pistolen 1908-1983 Dieser Band befasst sich mit der Entwicklung der Walther-Pistolen von den Anfängen im Jahre 1908 bis zu den neuesten Modellen und vermittelt dadurch dem Leser einen neuen Einblick auf eine Fazette der Geschichte unseres Jahrhunderts. Die Informationen in diesem Buch stammt aus vielen Quellen. Ein grosser Teil der Daten kommt aus der persönlichen Sammlung des Autors James Rankin. Viele Grundlagen lieferten Waffensammler aus der ganzen Welt, nicht zuletzt solche aus Deutschland, die im Zweiten Weltkrieg bei der Deutschen Wehrmacht gedient haben. |
