If you're looking for an affordable yet powerful folding hunting knife, you should definitely grab the Double Safe Hunter from Cold Steel®. It was inspired by the extremely popular Voyager® from the 'old guard'. Its wide, approximately 9 cm long Clip-Point blade is made of 8Cr13MoV steel and has been hardened to a Rockwell hardness of 57-58 HRC. No matter what task lies ahead, you can be sure you have the right knife at hand, because its blade is small enough to perform delicate work, yet also large enough to skin small or large game.

Its handle made of glass-fiber-reinforced nylon (GFN) with a steel pocket clip is thin and ergonomically comfortable - an absolute dream for extended use. It is available in three color variations: blaze orange (CS-23JB), OD green (CS-23JC) or with a distinctive camo pattern (CS-23JE).

When designing the Double Safe, Cold Steel® - as always - was mindful of protecting your fingers. The knife's state-of-the-art rocker-lock mechanism is double-secured and thus incredibly impact- and shock-resistant.

Edelstahl 8Cr13MoV
8Cr13MoV exhibits similar properties to AUS 8A and is a proven steel that is excellent for manufacturing utility knives. In Cold Steel's own tests, this stainless steel with a high carbon content has proven to be tough and corrosion-resistant. Like AUS 8A, it maintains good edge retention and is also easy to sharpen.
