| Wenn Du auf der Suche nach einem preiswerten, jedoch leistungsstarken klappbaren Jagdmesser bist, greif am besten gleich zum Double Safe Hunter von Cold Steel®. Als Vorbild dafür diente hier das äußerst beliebte Voyager® aus der 'alten Garde'. Seine breite, ca. 9 cm lange Clip-Point-Klinge ist aus 8Cr13MoV-Stahl gefertigt und wurde bis zu einer Rockwellhärte von 57-58 HRC gehärtet. Ganz gleich, welche Aufgabe Dir bevorsteht, kannst Du Dir sicher sein, dass Du das richtige Messer griffbereit hast, denn seine Klinge ist klein genug, um filigrane Arbeiten durchzuführen, dennoch auch groß genug, um kleine wie große erlegte Tiere zu häuten. Sein Griff aus glasfaserverstärktem Nylon (GFN) mit Stahl-Taschenclip ist dünn und ergonomisch angenehm - ein absoluter Traum bei längerem Gebrauch. Er ist in drei Farbvarianten erhältlich: blaze orange (CS-23JB), OD green (CS-23JC) oder mit markantem Camo-Muster (CS-23JE). Bei der Gestaltung des Double Safe war Cold Steel® - wie immer - auf den Schutz Deiner Finger bedacht. Die hochmoderne Wippen-Verriegelung des Messers ist doppelt gesichert und somit ungeheuer stoß- und schlagfest. Edelstahl 8Cr13MoV 8Cr13MoV weist ähnliche Eigenschaften wie AUS 8A auf und ist ein bewährter Stahl, der sich zur Herstellung von Arbeitsmessern hervorragend eignet. Bei Cold Steels® eigenen Tests hat sich dieser rostfreie Stahl mit hohem Kohlenstoffanteil als zäh und korrosionsbeständig erwiesen. Wie AUS 8A legt er eine gute Schnitthaltigkeit an den Tag und lässt sich auch leicht nachschärfen.
