Information on NWR-IDs

 

Dear customers,

 

Since September 1, 2020, the 3rd Weapons Amendment Act (WaffRÄndG) has been in force, requiring all firearms manufacturers, dealers, and gunsmiths to electronically report to the National Weapons Register.

 

Therefore, we absolutely need your NWR identification numbers (NWR-IDs) to transfer a weapon.

 

 

•Your personal ID (starts with a P),

•The permit ID for your WBK(s) (starts with an E)

• the number of your WBK or hunting license

•the issuing authority and the date of issue of your WBK

• your date of birth and place of birth

 

 

You will receive this information on so-called master data sheets from the weapons authority.

 

If you have not yet received these from your authority, we kindly ask you to request the master data sheets by e-mail, fax, telephone or post from your weapons authority so that we can continue to perform all services directly for you after September 1, 2020.
