Der lederumwickelte Griff, in roter Farbe, schließt mit einem schweren Stahlknauf ab, der nicht nur das Gewicht der langen Klinge ausgleicht, sondern auch an sich eine wirkungsvolle Waffe ist. Das spiralförmige Design des Knaufes ist mehr als nur eine gutaussehende dekorative Besonderheit: Es bietet auch mit Handschuhen bzw. Panzerhandschuhen einen bequemen und sicheren Halt.
