DescriptionDealer item no. 0010Automatically translated. Show original For sale is an absolute rarity from the heyday of Solingen blade art (circa late 1970s / 1980s): A handcrafted collector's and ceremonial knife from the traditional Günter Ermertz (GES) manufactory. The knife is in a flawless, unused original condition - absolutely scratch-free and without any grinding marks. It was stored exclusively protected in a display case. The blade: Made from the legendary Solingen high-performance steel C44Cr13 (extremely sharp-retaining and extremely rust-resistant). Clean, neat text embossing without any disturbing blade etchings. The handle: Elaborately designed, massive snake-head knob from dark brass with detailed, long fangs. The handle itself is wrapped with a dark brown leather strap. The sheath: The original, perfectly preserved brown leather sheath is a true work of art in itself. It stands out with a fine braided pattern and a silver-colored Texas star in the decorated ring (Western-Concho). • Total length: approx. 36 cm • Blade length: approx. 24 cm • Blade width: approx. 3 cm |
