1. Auflage von 1997, gebunden, 148 Seiten. Die Texte sind nur in englischer Sprache, zum Inhalt: >German Small Arms Markings from Authentic Sources< is the definitive 1997 reference book by Joachim Görtz and Don L. Bryans. It decodes unit, acceptance, and proof marks for Imperial-era, Weimar, and WWII German firearms using original German archival documents and wartime records. The authoritative text clarifies the complex, often misunderstood system of German military and police stamps through exact documentation. German Small Arms Markings from Authentic Sources - D. L. Research is particularly pleased to offer this project to English-speaking collectors who have labored with incomplete and often undocumented material for many years. German researchers have spent many hours ferreting for relevant information in hundreds of files. These findings have been edited, befitting concise publication, and we hope that their value to readers - as they analyze their collections - will be inestimable. The reader will note that the book contains information such as inspection and acceptance procedures and the DMW contact covering production of 50,000 pistols 08. It was felt that these and other matters of interest to collectors should be included. Over 200 pictures and photographs.
