| Aus Sammlungsauflösung wird ein preußisches Faschinenmesser M1849/1852 ohne Scheide angeboten. Die 43 cm lange Klinge ist fleckig, beschliffen und hat einige kleine Scharten auf der Schneide. Der erste Millimeter der Klingenspitze ist abgebrochen, läßt sich aber problemlos nachschleifen. Die Herstellermarkierung "E & F Hörster Solingen" ist noch mehr oder weniger gut zu erkennen. Eine Seite des Parierstücks ist stärker gebogen als die andere, es gibt hier aber keine Beschädigungen oder Risse im Material, was bei Messing darauf schließen läßt, daß die starke Biegung fertigungsbedingt oder zumindest mit Sachkenntnis herbeigeführt wurde. Klinge und Parierstück sind mit diversen Abnahme- und Truppenstempeln versehen. Insgesamt ein schönes Stück preußischer Militärgeschichte.
