| Die PocketChete ist eine klappbare Machete, die von Joerg Sprave entwickelt und von einem namhaften Unternehmen aus der Messerbranche hergestellt wurde. Die Stückzahl war streng auf 5.000 Exemplare begrenzt. Bei dem vorliegenden Exemplar handelt es sich um die Herstellungsnummer 4866. Der Vertrieb erfolgte ausschließlich über den Online-Shop von Joerg Sprave. Dort ist der Artikel allerdings schon länger ausverkauft. Eine Neuauflage ist nicht geplant. Es ergibt sich hier also die seltene Gelegenheit, dieses begehrte Sammlermesser zum günstigen Preis zu erstehen. Allerdings wäre es zu kurz gegriffen, die PocketChete ausschließlich als Sammlerstück zu betrachten. Die Klinge mit einer Länge von fast 24 cm und einer Dicke von 4 mm ist aus edlem D2 Stahl gefertigt. Sie verriegelt sowohl im offenen als auch im eingeklappten Zustand. Die Griffschalen bestehen aus G10. Die massive Konstruktion und das Gewicht von 850 Gramm prädestinieren die Machete auch als Arbeitsgerät in Wald, Feld und Garten. Trotz der gewaltigen Klinge gilt die PocketChete nicht als Messer, sondern als Werkzeug. Sie kann daher frei erworben und sogar in der Öffentlichkeit geführt werden. Wenn man den QR-Code auf der Klinge scannt, wird man zu einem Online-Dokument geleitet, in dem diese Rechtssituation umfassend erläutert wird. Die PocketChete wurde noch nie benutzt und ist daher neuwertig. Sie wird in der Originalverpackung geliefert. Der Verkauf/Versand erfolgt nur an Personen, die 18 Jahre oder älter sind.
