| Der Remington Smoot Revolver war die Antwort von Remington auf die Colt New Line Pocket Modelle. Der Revolver wurde von William Algernon Sydney Smoot entwickelt und 1873 patentiert. Smoot war Offizier im Bürgerkrieg und verbrachte den größten Teil seiner Zeit im Springfield Arsenal. Nach seinem Rücktritt arbeitete er für Remington in Ilion, New York, wo auch die Revolver nach seinem Patent gebaut wurden. Das hier angebotene Model 2 ist im Kaliber .30RF, es ist vernickelt und hat 98% originale Vernickelung und Brünierung auf dem Abzug und Hahn. Die Funktion ist einwandfrei. Von den angenommenen 2000 Model No. 2 sind wohl nur etwa 600 in .30RF gebaut worden, der größte Teil wurde in .32RF produziert Das Model No. 2 wurde von 1877 bis 1885 gebaut Der Revolver hat keinen gültigen Beschuss und wird daher nur an Händler oder Sammler verkauft Disclaimer: Dies ist ein Privatverkauf, daher keine Rücknahme oder Umtausch.
