Der Schaft der Waffe stammt von der neueren Sig P210 Die Sig SP 47/8 ist der Vorgänger der legendären Sig P210. Da die Seriennummer dieser Pistole im Bereich zwischen 6059 und 6540 liegt, gehörte sie höchstwahrscheinlich zu den 500 SP47/8, die im Februar und März 1948 im Rahmen eines schwedischen Auftrags an Sandvikens Järnhandel geliefert wurden. The weapon is cosmetically used, but still solid and mechanically sound. The stock of the weapon is from the newer Sig P210. The Sig SP 47/8 is the predecessor of the legendary Sig P210. Since the serial number of this pistol lies between 6059 and 6540, it was most likely one of the 500 SP47/8s delivered to Sandvikens Järnhandel in February and March 1948 as part of a Swedish contract.
