DescriptionAutomatically translated. Show original You are bidding on a Smith & Wesson classic Model 49 Bodyguard in .38 Special caliber. The revolver is in technically flawless condition, the timing is perfect, the cylinder play is almost non-existent, the cylinder gap is small, as one would expect from Smith & Wesson in 1973, and much better than the new models. The steel frame with an enlarged area to cover the hammer allows for quick drawing of the weapon without getting caught on the jacket. Nevertheless, the hammer can be easily cocked. Due to the steel frame, the revolver is suitable for all .38 Special cartridges, including +P cartridges. The weight of 580g allows for comfortable carrying, without the weapon being noticeable on the belt. Externally, there is some bluing wear on the barrel and front frame on the right side due to carrying in the holster, but it can be blackened again with bluing if needed. The revolver comes from the estate of a hunter and has been fired very little. EWB required, international shipping only through a German dealer to be named. |
