The 686 has been a staple among competitive shooters for decades. The Competitor is the competition variant from the Performance Center and brings exactly what you usually have to retrofit: a tuned competition trigger, the adjustable LPA sight with target bead, and weight inserts in the barrel shroud that allow you to adjust the center of gravity to suit your preferences. It's equally suitable for static disciplines as for dynamic areas.

What do the additional weights bring?

They shift the center of gravity forward. More weight calms the weapon when aiming and dampens the recoil, less weight makes it faster in target acquisition. So you can vary it depending on the discipline.

Kann ich .38 Special schießen?

Yes. In a .357 Magnum revolver, .38 Special can be fired, but the reverse is not possible. For training and static disciplines, it's the more cost-effective and lower-recoil choice.

Wofür ist der Triggerstop?

It limits the trigger's follow-through after the break. The finger doesn't run into emptiness, which prevents jerking at the moment of shot release.

Can a reflex sight be mounted?
