| Biete hier einen Centennial Mod. 40 zum Kauf an. In einer weiteren Auktion verkaufe ich die gleiche Waffe in Leichtmetallausführung. Die Centennials hatten eine eigene Nummern- Serie, welche von 1 bis30160 lief. Ab 1968 wurde der Nummer ein L voran gestellt und von L 0001 bis L 9861 im Jahr 1974 weiter produziert, d.h. es wurden zwischen 1952 und 1974 ca. 40000 Revolver gefertigt. Centennials sind also im Vergleich zu den Chiefs und Bodyguards ziemlich selten und die frühen vor 1956 gefertigten Varianten mit den glatten "high horned" Griffschalen, 4 Schrauben Seitenplatte und " flat latch thumbpiece" gesuchte Sammlerstücke. Die blockierbare Griffsicherung soll auch nicht unerwähnt bleiben. Die Waffe präsentiert sich nahezu neuwertig und ist ein Schmuckstück für jede anspruchsvolle Sammlung. Auch dieser Revolver dürfte eigentlich keine Mod.-Nr. besitzen, da vor 1956 produziert, ist aber Mod. 40 gestempelt. Das Angebot ist privater Natur, ich schließe hiermit also Garantie, Rücknahme und Nachverhandlungen ausdrücklich aus.
