Ähnlich wie beim Magpul ACS kommt auch beim CTR ein zusätzliches Friction Lock System zur Anwendung welches für mehr Halt und dadurch Präzision sorgt. Die beidseitigen QD Sling Montagen nehmen problemlos alle gängigen Push-Button Riemenbügel auf. Das Mil-Spec Modell ist standardmässig mit einem 0.30 Inch dicken Gummischaft-Pad ausgestattet, welches für den nötigen Halt der Waffe im Anschlag sorgt, selbst in Verbindung mit einer Weste.
