The Daniel Defense DD4 RIII S is the short-barrel configuration of the RIII series — the most advanced line of semi-automatic carbines ever produced by Daniel Defense. The RIII family represents the direct evolution of the AR-15 platforms Daniel Defense has supplied to special operations forces, professionals, and serious sport shooters for over two decades. Built in the United States to military-grade material and manufacturing standards, the DD4 RIII S pairs a 279mm (11.5") Cold Hammer Forged barrel with the 10.5" RIS III rail — directly derived from the RIS II two-piece handguard developed for SOCOM — in a compact, fully ambidextrous platform.
