The Aimpoint 9000 L 4 MOA is a full-length hunting red dot sight designed to provide very fast target acquisition and high durability. Its classic tubular format suits hunters who want the familiar appearance of a traditional riflescope together with the advantages of a red dot.

It is primarily designed for standard- and magnum-action rifles. The 9000 L is suitable for wild boar, big-game, and bear hunting, as well as situations where fast aiming is essential.

The 4 MOA red dot is highly visible and supports rapid target acquisition, especially during dynamic shooting or in lower-light conditions. It is particularly well suited to driven hunting and typical hunting distances.

The sight operates at 1x, with no magnification and unlimited eye relief. Its operationally parallax-free design supports intuitive both-eyes-open shooting without requiring precise eye alignment behind the optic.

The 9000 L uses a full-length, traditional riflescope-style format. It has a 30 mm mounting tube and requires standard 30 mm mounting rings, which are not included.

Minimum spacing between mounting rings is 158 mm, while maximum ring width is 45 mm. Confirm that your rings are compatible with your firearm and follow the mounting manufacturer’s torque recommendations.

The sight features a 23 mm aperture. It uses anti-reflective coating on the optical surfaces and multi-layer objective-lens treatment to optimize light transmission and red-dot visibility.

Average light transmission is 60% from 420 to 700 nm. The light source is a 650 nm red LED, designed to be eye-safe under normal operating conditions.

Models manufactured after January 2024 are equipped with opaque black flip-up lens covers. Earlier models may have been supplied with bikini-style lens covers.

The 9000 L uses one DL1/3N lithium battery. It provides up to 50,000 hours, or more than five years, of continuous operation on a single battery.

Dot intensity is adjusted using a rotary selector with 10 settings. This model is not compatible with night vision devices.

The 9000 L is designed to withstand demanding hunting conditions. Its robust construction is submersible to 5 m / 15 ft.
