Der Olympia-Silbermedaillengewinner in KK-3x40, Juha HIRVI aus Finnland, ist der Erfi nder der SOLID-Handschuhe. 1989 brachte Juha ein Stück weisses Plastik zu uns und bat uns, einen Schiesshandschuh damit zu belegen. Wir dachten, dass die steife Polsterung nur eine bessere Unterstützung des Handgelenks im Stehendanschlag bringen würde. Aber Juha hatte begriffen, dass das Plastik den Druck des Riemens und des Schaftes auf einem grösseren Areal verteilt. Aus diesem Grund werden SOLID-Modelle von vielen Liegend- und Kniendschützen bevorzugt. |
