| Belle statue en métal (alliage dit "regule"), représentant un forgeron de village en train de marteler. Patine qui ajoute du cachet. Beau relief musculaire, détails réalistes comme la reprise sur le tablier. Le marteau et la barre sont amovibles. Le fond est fermé par une tôle de zinc sur laquelle est collée un papier (peut-être pour ne pas rayer les meubles sur lesquels elle était posée) 50 cm de haut et 4 kg environ. Vient de Lorraine. Pas de signature visible sur l'oeuvre, peut-être un "chef d'oeuvre d'artisan" à l'issue de son tour de France. Fin 19ème ou début 20ème siècle. |
