Inscription sur plaquette: " ancien mortier de 12 livres de 1869 transformé d'après les ordres du colonnel Herzog ( général en 1870) en mortier à canon rayé de 12 cm. Il s'agit d'un objet de collection vendu en l'état. La valeur du bronze en recycling est supérieure à 2'000.-- Positionmörser 12 Cm vom 1883 ohne Verschluss. Lauf 125 cm, ganz 150. Gewicht vom Lauf (Bronze) 631 Kg. Höhe 145 Cm Gesamt läng. 330 Cm, Gewicht ung. 1,5 T.
