Die Repetierbüchse ist in Vollstahlbauweise und sehr robust. Die Waffe hat einen Holzschaft mit Riemenbügel und bayrischer Backe. Die Mauser 66 hat ein doppelreihiges 3-Schuss-Magazin und einen deutschen Stecher. Die Waffe hat eine Zwei-Stellungssicherung, die lautlos bedienbar ist. Durch ihren Teleskopverschluss und dadurch entsprechend kürzere Hülse ist die Waffe bei gleicher Lauflänge kürzer als andere Repetierbüchsen. Auf der Mauser 66 ist ein Schmidt & Bender Zenith Zielfernrohr 2,5-10x56 mit Suhler Einhakmontage montiert. Die Waffe ist von uns auf Funktion geprüft und eingeschossen mit sehr guter Schussleistung.
