Der Taurus 96 ist ein solider, präziser .22lr-Revolver, der sich als günstige Alternative zu teureren Modellen bewährt hat. Besonders in den 80er und 90er Jahren war er eine beliebte Wahl für Sportschützen. Der Taurus wurde von der Firma Hämmerli importiert und den Beschuß erhielt er im Jahr 1985 in Ulm.
