Tavel erzählt als ein wahrer Zauberer der Wirklichkeit, bald heiter und auflüpfisch, bald wehmütig und mit dem Blick für die Grösse im Sturz der alten Republik. Anschliessend an "Jä gäll, so geit's" bildet dieser Band das in sich abgeschlossene Mittelstück der Trilogie "Familie Landorfer". Von der Zeit unmittelbar nach dem Untergang der alten Republik Bern ist die Rede. die Patrizierfamilien halten so gut wie möglich an ihrem alten Lebensstil fest, aber Nimbus und Macht haben sie verloren. |
