Er schildert Ausbildung, Alltag, Taten und die beispiellose Härte des Einsatzes bis zum langen Weg durch Österreich und Bayern in die Gefangenschaft. Aus heutiger Sicht ist es nur schwer verständlich, mit welcher Begeisterung sich Freiwillige ins Kriegsgeschehen stürzten. Das Buch ist ein wertvoller Beitrag zur Aufarbeitung der militärischen und politischen Geschichte der Division "Wiking" und des Zweiten Weltkriegs. Kombiversand möglich.
