Familienklinge Edo-Periode (ca. 1650) Sehr guter Zustand.Machen sie mir ein Angebot. Preis Verhandelbar. English:This is a Japanese WWll Army Kamikaze pilot or tanker's sword wakizashi in mountings. The blade is unsigned, shinogi-zukuri shape, Edo period ca. 1650 era made old family blade. The blade is in old polish, shows fine scratches but no rust, no nick, no bend, no crack and cutting edge is sharp. The temper line is wavy gunome with choji temper pattern throughout the blade and has deep temper at the point. The forging grain is itame hada, no openings and no forging flaws. The scabbard is leather covered wood scabbard, no tear, no crack, no bend and in good condition. The handle is tight fit, tsuka-ito wrapping is no cut, no loose and in good condition. It measures 21+1/8" cutting edge, 1+1/8" width, 6.5 mm thickness at the notch and 34" in mountings. It came with blue/brown lieutenant grade sword tassel, no cut, no fade and in good condition. This kind of short wakizashi was carried by Kamikaze pilot or tank crews to fit in small cockpit |
