Im Falle der Zustellung per Kurier berechnen wir 10 Rappen pro gefahrenen Kilometer (nur die einfache Strecke wird berechnet). English description In 1946, Field Marshall Bernard Montgomery visited Switzerland and used the famous 12 x 72 Trench Periscope for test purpose during his stay for a ski vacation in St. Moritz. He was deeply impressed by the power and the precision of the optics and considered KERN/Aarau from this day as a supplier of optical goods as binoculars and sophisticated military optics. He advised the Department of Military Equipment in the United Kingdom to establish a contact with KERN to find solutions for some other optical Systems, which performed not so well as expected during WW2 in North Africa against Rommel and the german troops called "Afrikacorps". The offered Instrument is in mint condition, regarding the year of production in 1940 it can be considered as nearly brand new. In any case it seems to come out of an actual production in 2015, but in fact it is nearly 80 years old. There is no need of any cosmetic or technical refurbishment of the Instrument, and it can be used for all measurements, for determining of distance and location, and for finding of ballistic curves of missiles of any kind in the range of about 2.750 meters. Even the form of the landscape can be determined and adapted in favour of further ballistic calculations.
