| Säbel Bern 1794, Inf und Gren Klinge Modell 1794, Gefäss 1760. Dieser Säbel wurde aus zwei Modellen zusammengesetzt. Die Klinge stammt von der Lieferung 1794 von Daniel Rudolf Kirschbaum aus Solingen mit dem Berner Bär, der eher einem missratenen Hund gleicht. Die löffelförmige Griffkappe stammt ebenfalls vom Modell 1794, ebenso das hölzerne Gehilze. Dass Gefässteil bestehend aus Bügel und Seitenspangen stammt jedoch von einem Säbel für Unteroffiziere 1760. Bei der Änderung wurde die Zwinge ersetzt und das Gehilfe neu mit geflochtenem Wickeldraht umwunden. Die Vernietung ist nicht gerade ein Meisterstück. |
