Wenger Delémont Switzerland Stainless.Schweizer Taschenmesser, auch Schweizer Offiziersmesser, Schweizermesser, in der Schweiz Sackmesser (von 'Hosensack', der Schweizer Bezeichnung für Hosentasche) genannt, sind die bekanntesten und am häufigsten verkauften Taschenmesser. Die Firma wurde 1893 von Paul Boéchat unter dem Namen Paul Boéchat & Cie. gegründet. Der damalige Sitz war die Gemeinde Courtételle. 1901 wurden erstmals Taschenmesser an die Schweizer Armee geliefert. Den Namen Wenger erhielt das Unternehmen im Jahr 1907, als Theo Wenger die Fabrik aufkaufte und sie in Wenger & Co. S.A. umbenannte. 1922 erhielt Wenger S.A. seinen heutigen Namen. 2014 wurde die Messerproduktion eingestellt und wird von Victorinox unter Delémont Kollektion zum teil weitergeführt. |
