| Die Universal Service Weapon® (USW®) von B&T ist eine moderne, kleine und leichte Waffe, die wie eine Handfeuerwaffe oder ein Polizeikarabiner bedient werden kann. Die USW wurde für alle Polizisten, Wachleuten, Soldaten und Geheimdienstler entwickelt, die eine Waffe in der Größe einer Pistole benötigen, aber die effektive Reichweite und Endballistik eines 9-mm-Schulterfeuer-Karabiners haben. Die USW gehört zu einer ganz eigenen Kategorie. Das einzigartige Design ermöglicht präzise Treffer auf 25 Meter aber auch Treffer auf grössere Ziele bis 75m. Dies ist auf die Verschmelzung mehrerer bekannter Konstruktionsprinzipien zurückzuführen, die es dem Schützen ermöglichen, seine Waffe mit Hilfe des Klappschaftes zu stabilisieren, indem er den roten Punkt des Aimpoint® auf das Ziel richtet und den Abzug betätigt. Dies ist nicht anders als bei einem 9-mm-Karabiner. Die Waffe ist klein und kompakt genug, um von jedem Polizisten unter allen Einsatzbedingungen getragen werden zu können.
