| Occasion Waffe Die Colt 2000, auch bekannt als All American 2000, ist eine halbautomatische Pistole im Kaliber 9x19 mm, die Anfang der 1990er-Jahre von Colt's Manufacturing Company produziert wurde. Entwickelt in Zusammenarbeit mit den renommierten Konstrukteuren Reed Knight und Eugene Stoner, sollte sie Colt wieder einen festen Platz im Markt für moderne Dienstpistolen sichern - doch die Realität sah anders aus. Technisch basiert die Colt 2000 auf einem rotierenden Laufverschluss mit verriegeltem Verschluss, was für eine gleichmäßige Rückstoßverteilung sorgen sollte. Sie wurde mit einem Polymer- oder Aluminiumrahmen gefertigt und verfügte über ein Double-Action-Only-Abzugssystem. Mit einer Gesamtlänge von etwa 190 mm, einer Lauflänge von rund 115 mm und einem Gewicht von ca. 820-910 g (je nach Rahmenmaterial) lag sie solide in der Hand. Das Magazin fasste 15 Patronen, was für die damalige Zeit durchaus konkurrenzfähig war. Trotz innovativer Ansätze war die Colt 2000 von Anfang an von Zuverlässigkeitsproblemen und schlechter Präzision geplagt. Eine Rückrufaktion im Jahr 1993 wegen Sicherheitsmängeln trug zusätzlich zum schlechten Ruf bei, und die Produktion wurde bereits 1994 eingestellt. Heute gilt sie als technisches Kuriosum und Sammlerstück, das weniger durch Leistung als durch seine Geschichte und Seltenheit fasziniert.
