Beschreibung Ersatz-Aktivkohle-Patrone für Katadyn Combi Filter (leer, ohne Aktivkohle)Aktivkohle wird wegen ihrer reduzierenden Wirkung gegenüber organischen, anorganischen und gesundheitsschädigenden Stoffen im Wasser eingesetzt. Sie reduziert Geschmacks- und Geruchsstoffe sowie Chlor, Pestizide (Lindan, DDT) und Trihalomethane (THMs). Die Stoffe werden von der großen Oberfläche der Aktivkohle adsorbiert. Bei deren vollständigen Beladung lässt sich die Aktivkohle nicht mehr regenerieren und muss erneuert werden.Die Kapazität des Aktivkohlegranulats hängt von der Wasserqualität ab. Je mehr das Wasser chemisch oder geschmacklich belastet ist, desto schneller reduziert sich die Leistung des Granulats von max. 200 Liter pro Füllung. Wenn das Wasser trotz dem Einsatz der gefüllten Aktivkohle-Kartusche noch einen unangenehmen Geschmack oder Geruch aufweist, muss das Granulat ersetzt werden. Unabhängig von der Literleistung soll das Aktivkohlegranulat nach spätestens 6 Monaten Dauereinsatz ausgewechselt werden.
