| Exact age unknown, what information I could find indicated that this spear may have originated from the central Africa regions and related information suggested the Kuba peoples. Total length measures just over 78 inches. The head blade is made of thin hand forged steel or iron and measures 31 inches in total length with a 27 inch blade and is 4.5 inches at its widest. The shaft is flexible and is covered with a thin flat copper center gripping area with ribbed copper wrap above and below the flat copper wrapping. The upper end of the shaft has a flat iron hand forged tip which measures about 9 inches. Shows age., |
