| "Texas" blacksmith made large Bowie with a 19 3/8 inch hand forged heavy iron blade. 28.75 inch over all length with plain wood handles. The blade has welds on both sides at the guard which appears to have been done at a later time to tighten up the blade and guard. Consignor notes state from the Civil War era. Shows age with some pitting and surface rusting. Dry wood handles., |
