| 6.5x50mm Japanese; 80% blue, poor bore, good stock, 31'' barrel, Koishikawa Tokyo arsenal manufacture. No series mark. Full Mum on top of the receiver. Proper bolt with small projection on the safety, assembly numbered on the shank "555". The upper band is stamped on the bottom of the bayonet lug with a non-matching number. This rifle suffers from storage neglect, with light surface rusting overall on the metal, visible original blue on areas that have been cleaned. Original cleaning rod. A hardened rubberized laminated canvas sling is attached, tied around the lower sling swivel. The sling is in poor condition and removal will likely destroy it so we left it alone. The wood shows handling but no damage. The bolt has dark spotting overall with some areas of pitting. The bore is dark with strong rifling., s/n 15602xx |
