Matching serial numbers, slide and barrel. Standard Spanish proofs on the left rear frame and slide. Factory magazine. No import markings. Likely one of an estimated 14,000 pistols sold to the West German Police after WW2, although the gun by serial number falls just out of the serial range 45,401-59,400 known to have been sent to Germany. Rig, includes an Akah marked Spanish pattern black leather Police issue holster with an extra factory magazine. Holster has a name tag attached under the flap "Franz Mantwill" with a written serial number 39942., s/n 599xx |
