| 12 Gauge; good bore, good stock, 32'' barrel, Plum brown Damascus 2 3/4" chambered barrels that are solid, no dents and ring like church bells. All numbered pieces match. Single extractor. The barrel to receiver lockup is nice and tight. The exposed hammer sidelocks are engraved "BAKER GUN Co" and then "BATAVIA N.Y.". Both locks/hammers hold and function well mechanically, every thing here could use a good clean-up and lube. Both the sliver wood forend and buttstock are solid and each have no cracks but have been re-lacquered. A steel buttplate is intact. With a little TLC, this would make a good Cowboy Action, period correct black powder shotgun…call us., |
