| 44 Caliber; good bore, 31.25'' barrel, Belgian produced c.1860 copy of a Colt 1855 revolving rifle. No legible markings aside from the serial number on the bottom of the frame, series of Belgian proofs on the bottom of the barrel near the frame and a Belgian proof on the upper left front of the frame. The barrel and cylinder pin have matching serial numbers to the frame. No stock. Rear sight is missing. Also missing the front trigger guard screw, tang screws for the stock and small forend. The action functions fine. The bore has strong sharp rifling showing corrosion and fouling in the grooves. Metal is in the white with rusting and pitting. Antique, s/n 2xx |
