| 16 Gauge; fair bore, fair stock, 29.5'' barrel, Single shot bolt action built on a Gras type action. Marked on the top flat of the barrel chamber GERR. MAUSER & CO. with Belgian Liege proofs on the left side of the barrel chamber. Browned metal showing some wear and thinning. Mounted in a beechwood stock with a checkered grip and a wedge through the forend. The stock has been shortened with a 13.25 inch LOP. The barrel is fitted with a bead front sight and no rear sight. No matching serial numbers on the numbered parts. Mechanically fine, the bore is dark and may have some scattered pitting. Antique., s/n 451xx |
