| 16 GA; fair bore, good stock, 29 3/8'' barrel, Manufactured ca.1895. Browned Damascus barrels with matted rib, added front sight base missing blade, two dovetailed slots cut on rib near chambers. Casehardened frame and lockplates, aged mostly bright with dark spotting overall. Simple engraving. Checkered walnut stock, checkering worn. Steel buttplate. Latch release forearm. Hammer screw is a replacement. The dolls head on the back of the barrels has broken off, the slot in the frame filled with lead to fill the recess. Actions function fine. Barrels have play both up/down and side/side., s/n 256xx |
