| 16 Gauge; Good bore, good stock, 29.5'' barrel, Manufactured in Belgium circa late 1880s. Original browned finish Damascus barrels, casehardened frame and mounted in checkered beechwood. 2 1/2 inch chambers with Modified and Improved Cylinder chokes, the barrels possibly shortened to length at some point. The finish on the barrels is thinning. The left barrel has two or three tiny dents and one small split on the side about 4 inches from the muzzle. The frame has turned mostly gray with traces of case color remaining. The wood shows some wear and handling scratches. Mechanically fine with tight barrel lockup. Antique., s/n 247xx |
